Carmyllie Hall was built in 1965 on land donated to the community, at a time when village halls were the focus of a vibrant community.  Where children gathered for clubs and activities or just used the grounds for playing outside.  Adults would gather and chat and have fun socialising together.

 

The modern community has moved online.  Children playing on their devices and people staying at home catching up with friends on Zoom calls.

 

The hall lives on and the Team of volunteers that manage it are striving to reignite the local community spirit that was so prevalent when it first opened.
